A magical introduction to live music for young children.

Blend musical exploration with interactive play at our family-friendly Sing Along & Sounds, co-presented by Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA), Bainbridge Community Piano Association (BCPA), Kids In Concert (KIC) and the Kids Discovery Museum (KiDiMu).
Families will begin at KiDiMu, which opens at 9:00 AM, where children can explore sound and rhythm through hands-on activities with KIC. Afterwards, the group will head over to BIMA for a 35-minute concert presented by BCPA, featuring Johnny Bregar and Mike Derzon, beginning at 10:30 AM.
Admission includes access to both KiDiMu and the concert at BIMA.
KiDiMu is located at 301 Ravine Lane NE, Bainbridge Island.
BIMA is located at 550 Winslow Way E, Bainbridge Island.

What to expect.
Musical hosts Mike Derzon and Johnny Bregar invite children aged 0- 6 years old and their families to explore music, sounds and movement. The 35 minute concert will feature performances by professional musicians and sing-alongs for the family with an interactive element.
The concert starts at 10:30 at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. Visit the Kids Discovery Museum beforehand for a pre show with Kids In Concert.
Our Story.
Sing Along and Sounds is organized by the nonprofit Bainbridge Community Piano Association. The Bainbridge Community Piano Association owns and maintains the grand piano at the Waterfront Park Community Center in Bainbridge Island for nonprofit groups and individuals to rent for concerts, recitals, music scholarship competitions, master classes and musical entertainment. For the past 17 years, the association has organized the jazz and classical concert series First Sundays Concerts.We are excited to now offer concerts to young audiences.
